Before we add any new stock to a portfolio we ask two basic but fundamental questions:

        1. Do we have a sound case to believe this stock will have a
            satisfactory long term return?
        2. Does this stock have a low correlation with what we already own? 

In other words we invest, we don't speculate, nor do we put all of our clients eggs in just one (or very few) baskets. 

We are long-term investors. We prize companies that have a proven ability to generate growing levels of cash flow and have ample opportunity to expand their business. We admire management teams that have a demonstrated ability to permanently create shareholder value by minimizing the risks to their business and improving profitability and growth rates.
