Leo’s 15 plus years of international investment banking experience in the Americas has made him a great asset to the Toron team. In Canada, he was Vice President of RBC Global Markets where he co-founded the Emerging Markets Research and Trading Group. Before moving to Canada, Leo was a Founding Partner and Managing Director at Grupo Financiero InvesTech-SDL with investment banking and insurance businesses in Venezuela, Antigua and Florida, where he ran an SEC registered Investment Advisory affiliate. Earlier in his career, he joined Citicorp/Citibank in New York, as an International Corporate Finance Associate, and also worked as a Management Consultant with McKinsey & Company in Caracas and Buenos Aires.

Leo has an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a degree in Economics from Universidad Catolica Andres Bello in Caracas, Venezuela, where he also taught Corporate Finance.↑ top
